Henbury Court Primary Academy

Lighthouse Team

Meet the Lighthouse Team - Mrs Wright, Mr Beer, Miss Wright and Mrs Hullis.  They're here to help and support your child, or your family, with any issues there may be, no matter how small.

The team specialise in supporting with communication and social interaction issues, friendship group concerns, mental health support and in-school intervention.  They are here to support you, your child or both in home or school.   We recognise that SEMH is SEN; our response to SEMH is attached here, alongside a Bristol-based organisation who can provide help and advice too.

We believe that everybody needs support at some point in their life; we're here to help so at Henbury Court Primary we work together with families to support children socially and emotionally at school and at home.

We are here to listen to any concerns you may have about your child. We can help you develop strategies and signpost you to support from external organisations.

We run Parent Gym, a free evidenced-based parenting course, Gym Tots a free weekly activity session for families with pre-school aged children and regular coffee mornings.  We can make referrals to the Foodbank and support you to access advice in relation to housing, domestic abuse and benefits.

If you would like support from the team please feel free to make an appointment through the front office (01173 772196), email the school (henbury.court.p@bristol-schools.uk) or catch one of the staff on the playground.
